These foods help to maintain the acid-alkali balance of the skin and lend it a nice glow. Drinking lots and lots of water takes care of cleansing your skin from within. Liquid intake like fresh fruit juices provide internal nourishment to the skin and keep acne and pimples under control. They flush out toxic materials in the skin and keep it well cleansed. Keep away from fats and sugars. You can however, binge on fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, fish, skimmed milk products and lean milk.
